Sant Jordi at CU Boulder

Program

Sant Jordi’s Day will be held on Monday, April 23rd at CU Boulder campus. In the morning, Sant Jordi will be celebrated with the CU community around campus. In the evening, they have organized a writing contest ceremony to commemorate the Book Day and Literary Day.

** MORNING (9:00 am at the Engineering Center Lobby, UMC Hall, and Eaton Humanities)

Enjoy Sant Jordi’s Day around campus with the CU Catalan Club.

FREE ROSES AROUND CAMPUS: To celebrate this beautiful tradition, roses will be given around campus. Come to our booths to know more about Sant Jordi’s legend and how Catalans celebrate it.

BOOK EXCHANGE: To promote the World Book Day, there will be a book exchange. Bring your book to one of our booths and get any of ours!

** EVENING (6.00 pm at RAMY C250) – VII Jocs Florals Ceremony and Dinner party.

Compete in the writing contest and win $75 gift card awards. Open to all CU students! Deadline for submission: April 20th at 11.59 pm. Typical Catalan food will be served to all attendees.
